Selling online courses & coaching?

Meet Alex, your next director of marketing & advisor

Hi! I'm Alex Bos, a 31 y.o. marketer & entrepreneur from Ukraine who most of all enjoys growing digital businesses!
I'm looking for a growth-hungry e-learning / coaching company to build out and lead its digital marketing team, overseeing paid & organic traffic, content creation, funnel building & optimization, webinar scripting, product launches, affiliate programs, email & chatbot workflows, client retention, building recurring revenue offers, sales processes and much more.

Be honest, what's your biggest challenge?

Are you looking to find
your product-market fit?
Make your brand well-known
and not break a bank?
Build a marketing team that can work independently of you without the need to double-check everything?Generate twice as many leads & sales for half the cost?Double what you charge and get away with it?Solving these and many other marketing problems is my bread and butter, it's what I enjoy and do every day so you don't have to.

5 cool things I've done

1. Managed a $400k/mo advertising budget at online education giant Mindvalley.com together with the rest of our team back in 2015.2. After leaving the company, launched my own digital marketing agency and leading a team of 10, managed tens of millions USD in ad spend for clients all over Europe and the US.3. Helped an online education platform for coaches perform a million-dollar launch that later helped them get acquired by a global market leader.4. Took a few digital projects with brand new Google & Facebook ad accounts to 6 figures monthly in revenue with 4x ROAS with paid ads within 3 months.5. Personally closed a $54k deal recently.

How I work

I only work with 1 company at a time as a full-time in-house CMO (best for companies doing over $1M/year in revenue) or with up to 2 companies as a fractional CMO (best for businesses doing between $500k and 1M/year)This way I can dedicate enough attention to growth needs of your company.I'm looking to come on board for at least 3 month (as it doesn't make sense to hire a CMO for 1-2 months) but you get the best ROI if I stay with you for at least a year.We will negotiate a base monthly salary plus a performance bonus, based on results I bring to your company.I also make sure that the marketing department budget coming under my management, brings you a positive ROI and helps you achieve your growth goals that we agree on as realistic.

How much it costs to hire a CMO anyway?

As a reference, here's the average annual CMO salary in the US depending on the company size:

Company sizeAverage salaryBonus
Large (250+ staff)$236,186$69,313
Medium (50-249 staff)$179,500$33,390
Small (10-49 staff)$175,057$21,774
Micro (1-9 staff)$103,458$14,885

Basically, the market rate for the highest position in marketing (full-time) is between 10k and 25k per month, including performance bonuses. This can be higher or lower across different countries and industries but you get the ballpark. With all the other salaries in the marketing team, it adds up.But I have a solution. In fact, 3 solutions.

3 ways I'm making a more affordable offer than that

  • The fixed part of my fee is just $5,000, which is much less comparing to $10-25k / month market rate.

  • In any case, my goal is to make you much more than what you pay me

  • I can do this by allowing a big part of my fee to come from performance bonuses. I earn when you earn. This greatly reduces your financial risk.

  • If you are a startup or a small business, you may want to hire me part-time as a fractional CMO and slash the price even further.

In any case, we'll end up working together only if I'm confident that I'll bring you much more than what you pay me. Simple.
